Four Generations of Real Estate Heritage
Our firm began in 1888 when migration from New York City was constant, fueled by the well-to-do of Manhattan. From a small home in Bronxville, William Lawrence, our founder, provided upscale services that quickly earned a reputation for exceeding expectations.
Today, fourth-generation owner Nancy Seaman and her two brothers Stephen and Chris Meyers, lead a powerful team that covers all of Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam counties and establishes Houlihan Lawrence as the largest independent real estate brokerage in the area.
For more than 125 years, with the work of over one thousand agents and through twenty-four offices, the standards of quality set by William Lawrence have continued.

Tri-State Alliance
In order to provide the widest exposure for our sellers and make available a greater array of listings for buyers, Houlihan Lawrence formed the Tri-State Alliance with three fellow market-leading brokerage firms. All exclusive listings of each firm are now featured and searchable across all four brokerage websites, which collectively receive more than 1,000,000 unique visitors each month. Buyers and sellers now have easy access to listings in the tri-state area on each member firm website.
The Tri-State Alliance was formed by the collective communities and listings of Houlihan Lawrence (New York's Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess); Coach Realtors (Long Island); Halstead Property (New York City, Southern Connecticut and Columbia County, NY), and Turpin Realtors (Northern New Jersey).
