Edward A. Sherman IV (Ted) has been in the real estate field for over 15 years. As a licensed Mortgage Broker, Real Estate Broker and Developer, Ted has developed the necessary skills to assist buyers and sellers with property searching, buying, and the closing process. Ted’s experience in the field enables him to clearly and concisely explain each step of the home buying and selling process, whether it is to an investor buying their 10th property or to a first time buyer. Ted’s solid background in Finance allows him to communicate to his clients the inner workings of qualifying for and obtaining a mortgage, to assist the customers in finding creative ways to get loans completed, and to obtain the highest possible values for their properties. In the construction field, Ted has a knack to spot undervalued properties with development potential that have gone previously unnoticed. Ted’s experience transcends not only through brokerage, but into debt-leveraging, as well as asset management. Ted graduated from UMass Amherst with Degrees in both Communications and Psychology. This education has enriched Ted’s ability to view problems as opportunities and the acumen to respond quickly to questions and emails without hesitation and with intelligent discourse.

Ted has worked in New York City for over ten years as a Location Manager for Hollywood Films and Commercials. This valuable experience has given Ted firsthand knowledge of city streets, up and coming neighborhoods, vacant and potential development opportunities and the ever changing market trends in real estate. Ted enjoys traveling, and after living and studying in Brazil, is fluent in Portuguese. Ted firmly believes that honesty, integrity and hard work are core values in the real estate business, and that is why he is proud to call Houlihan Lawrence his home.
